The small amount of Fernet in this cocktail isn't overwhelming, but adds a lot of character. Stir and strain into an ice filled double rocks glass. Strain mix into a shot glass and garnish with an apple slice. In a shaking glass with ice, combine jack Daniel's whiskey and sour apple pucker.
